With your support and encouragement over the years, the Homestead has grown by leaps and bounds! We are right on the verge of becoming a legitimate, self-supporting non-profit with the mission to increase health literacy, advocate for self sufficiency, and build healthy communities through outreach, education and participation. 

So far, we’ve raised $128 toward our goal of $2500 – we still have a long way to go! I am reaching out to YOU – my ever loyal readers – for help. Many of you have been with us since our inception in 2011, you have participated in our spring cleanse, our summer wildcrafting, our fall clean-up and (our most popular event) our annual Winter Retreat.
