Winter Retreat 2020: Bridging the Gap

February 9-15

Join us for our annual Winter Retreat! Dedicate one week to reading, contemplation, yoga and guided meditations on our theme of “Bridging the Gap”

This annual event offers you a way to turn within and develop your spiritual self through deep contemplation and meditations on the theme of “Bridging the Gap.”

When you register, you will receive a “guide to retreat” PDF, and every day during the retreat we will post video and audio teachings, offerings from contemporary spiritual leaders and authors, as well as inspiration from ancient spiritual traditions of the world.

Give yourself the gift of one week, to delve deeply into your heart and spirit, with the gentle guidance of Arwen Pema Ek, your host for Winter Retreat 2020.

Minimum donation is $5, all proceeds benefit the Holistic Homestead, a 501c3 dedicated to improving health and wellness through education, outreach and advocacy.

Tea Parties are back!

The Holistic Homestead started back in 2013 when founder Arwen Ek invited a group of friends to share a pot of herbal tea and learn how to make and use Dr. B’s herbal cough syrup. Our founding Board of Directors, including co-founder Katie Gerhard came from that group with a mission to improve health and wellness in our community.

Since then we have been longing for a space of our own where we can host workshops, classes, live demos, local authors…and just get together to drink tea and enjoy friendship and community.

Now that we finally have our brick-and-mortar location we are thrilled to re-inaugurate the tradition of monthly afternoon tea! On the first Sundays of every month from 2-3 pm we will be at the Homestead with special guests, hands-on-health, and (of course) delicious tea!
