All events and workshops through September CANCELLED
In light of current developments in the global spread of COVID-19, and in consideration of recommendations from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control, we regret to inform you we have cancelled all our community events and workshops through September including our Grand Opening Celebration, Spring Cleanse, Summer Solstice Wildcrafting Party, Mountain Mama Fun Run, Fall Roadside Cleanup and Membership Appreciation Party.
As you know, these events are so important for our community, and our organization. Our full-time focus now is keeping our community healthy by stocking our Market with fresh, wholesome foods and natural health and wellness products, as well as partnering with the Food Bank, offering curbside pickup and expanding our grocery delivery service.
Your support makes all the difference for the health and wellness of our mountain community! Please consider making a donation on #GivingTuesdayNow to ensure the long-term viability of our nonprofit. Thank you!

Tea Parties are back!
The Holistic Homestead started back in 2013 when founder Arwen Ek invited a group of friends to share a pot of herbal tea and learn how to make and use Dr. B’s herbal cough syrup. Our founding Board of Directors, including co-founder Katie Gerhard came from that group with a mission to improve health and wellness in our community.
Since then we have been longing for a space of our own where we can host workshops, classes, live demos, local authors…and just get together to drink tea and enjoy friendship and community.
Now that we finally have our brick-and-mortar location we are thrilled to re-inaugurate the tradition of monthly afternoon tea! On the first Sundays of every month from 2-3 pm we will be at the Homestead with special guests, hands-on-health, and (of course) delicious tea!
