Help give The Holistic Homestead a Home!  During the month of December I have a goal of raising $18 to purchase theholistichomestead.org through WordPress.

• Only $18?  What’s the big deal?  $18 is all it takes to purchase a domain through WordPress.  That may not seem like a lot to you, but it IS a lot to me.  For my loyal followers, all 160 of you (woo-hoo!) – if each and every one of you sent in 11 cents…yes, only 11 cents, I would reach my goal of $18 to purchase this domain!
• Why .org and not .com or .me, etc?  Because I believe that all health care should be accessible, and because my passion lies in education and outreach, and because my ‘clinic’ serves rural mountain communities in Colorado.  The Holistic Homestead is a truly altruistic attempt to broaden the resources and perspectives of alternative, complementary and integrative health care for everyone.  Eventually I will be applying for non-profit status…but one step at a time!  😉
• Why WordPress.com and not godaddy or some other (cheaper) web hosting?  WordPress is not just a platform for do-it-yourself bloggers…it’s a community, it’s a philosophy, it’s a way of reaching out.  Blogging with WordPress is an amazing experience, and free, no less, SO user friendly, and the free tech support is inspiring to say the least.  I highly recommend WordPress.com, as it was recommended to me a couple years ago.

The Holistic Homestead is a holistic health care hub serving rural mountain communities in Colorado.  To this end, I offer all my remedies and services at extremely low costs, or on a sliding scale, or completely free.  This means I have to rely very much on the kindness and generosity of others to keep the karmic circle of healing flowing!  Here are three easy ways for you to support the Holistic Homestead, and to help us grow:
