Start drinking Apple Cider Vinegar! But not just any Apple Cider Vinegar will do. While there are a few reputable sources on the market, none hold a candle to Bragg’s Raw & Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with “The Mother” – it is highest in amino acids, potassium, and antioxidants.
Since I started doing regular cleanses in High School, I have definitely had years where I’m just not up to it – too stressed, didn’t have enough money, too sick, travelling…and I definitely didn’t cleanse while I was pregnant! But there was still ONE thing that I keep coming back to, year after year: drinking Apple Cider Vinegar.
Of course, we’re not talking straight out of the bottle, here. This recipe is a tried-and-true cleanser, proven to support weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and cholesterol, and may help prevent certain cancers.
Apple Cider Vinegar Daily Tonic
1 T Bragg’s Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother!
1 T Raw Honey (or natural, low-glycemic sweetener of your choice)
8 oz warm or room temperature filtered water
If you find the vinegar upsets your stomach, try it mixed in warm or even hot water and sip it slowly. I recommend starting with one glass first thing in the morning today, two glasses tomorrow (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), up to three glasses (morning, noon and evening) per day during your cleanse.
Other cider vinegar cleansing recipes include cayenne pepper and cinnamon – I find these too stimulating on my very sensitive system…and the cayenne is harsh on my tummy. If it works for you, awesome. If not, remember: gentle is the way.
You may feel so great on this regimen that you want to continue for weeks…please do! Listen to your body, it will tell you when to stop, or slow down. The longer you use Apple Cider Vinegar you may find your cravings for sugar, alcohol, nicotine and caffeine diminish, and your natural vitality will increase. Try it!
