We love our sponsors, because their work and businesses align with our mission to improve health and wellness in rural Colorado through education, outreach and advocacy!
Helene and her husband John have lived in the mountain community for ten years and both believe strongly in giving back to the community through volunteering and outreach.
John is a Lieutenant in the Timberline Fire Protection District and Helene has been an active member of the High Country Auxiliary since 2016. You can often find them both volunteering at the annual HCA events in support of TFPD and various other mountain community non-profit organizations. Helene also belongs to the Golden Gate Grange and assists in the annual Pig Roast to benefit the Golden Gate Fire Protection District.
She served on the Board of Directors for the Golden Gate Auxiliary of Colorado from 2016 through 2018.
Through her business CSBmetalsmith – The Mountain Metalsmith, Helene is able to give back to the community by donating one of a kind pieces for the annual Silent Auctions for the GGAC as well as the HCA.
They love living where they live and supporting their Mountain Community and helping to preserve the Mountain Way of Life is very important to them.
Another way they support their community is through sponsorship of the Holistic Homestead. The mission of the Holistic Homestead strikes a chord with Helene as she believes in the grassroots organizations dedication to education, outreach and preservation of the rural mountain communities in the Colorado Rockies.

Although Helene works full time at Xcel Energy, she finds time to serve on several boards of directors, one of which is TIED (the Talent Inclusion Education & Diversity group) that works exclusively to help educate companies here in Colorado on the importance of Diversity and Inclusion.
Thank you to Holistic Homestead for your vision and generosity to the community.
– Helene Arendt, CSB Metalsmith
